IES Madrasa Tutor (Qur’an & Islamiyyah)

i-eSchool is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Madrasa Tutor to teach Qur’an and Islamiyyah to children, young learners and adults in an engaging, structured, and spiritually enriching environment. The tutor will deliver high-quality lessons that nurture correct recitation, understanding of Islamic teachings, and strong moral character.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Qur’an & Islamiyyah Teaching

   • Deliver high-quality lessons in Qur’an recitation (with Tajweed) and Islamiyyah (Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, Akhlaq, Duas, etc.).

   • Support students in memorisation (Hifz) and revision where applicable.

   • Adapt teaching methods to suit different ages and learning abilities.

   • Ensure correct pronunciation, fluency, and understanding in Qur’an recitation.

2. Class Management

   • Join assigned classes promptly and ensure sessions run smoothly without disruptions.

   • Start and end classes on time, maintaining a structured and disciplined learning environment.

   • Manage student behaviour in line with i-eSchool’s policies and Islamic etiquette.

   • Ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging online classroom atmosphere.

3. Tutor Responsibility & Coordination

   • Prepare lesson plans and materials in advance of each session.

   • Communicate proactively with management regarding availability, challenges, or required support.

   • Arrange or notify management early in case of absence to support rescheduling or replacement.

   • Collaborate with class administrators and leadership to ensure smooth delivery of lessons.

4. Student Support

   • Provide individual attention to students to support their learning and development.

   • Encourage active participation and engagement during lessons.

   • Motivate students spiritually and academically, nurturing good character (Akhlaq).

   • Offer constructive feedback to help students improve in Qur’an and Islamiyyah.

5. Reporting and Compliance

   • Record attendance and provide brief lesson summaries after each session.

   • Track student progress in recitation, memorisation, and understanding.

   • Report any concerns (academic, behavioural, or safeguarding) to management promptly.

   • Ensure full compliance with i-eSchool’s policies, safeguarding standards, and code of conduct.

6. Additional Responsibilities

   • Participate in training sessions, meetings, or development programmes as required.

   • Support curriculum improvement and contribute ideas for enhancing lesson delivery.

   • Assist with other relevant academic or administrative tasks assigned by school leadership.
